Sunday School classes for children Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade are offered Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Jim and Mary Olson are the teachers. In addition to the classroom experiences, the Sunday School service projects this past year has included the "Blender Bash" that donated blenders to St. Andrews Clinic and the "Souper Bown of Caring" that gave food to our community. The children work hard on these and are so proud when they are successful.
Confirmation classes meet with Pastor Martin Overson on the first Saturday of the month (September through April) from 9:00-11:45 a.m. 13 to 15 year-olds are in the two year program this year, which is an overview of the Bible and Martin Luther's Small Catechism. At confirmation students affirm their own faith in their own words to become full members of the church.
