Desert Hills Lutheran Church has five worship services at two worship locations. We have four weekly worship services in Green Valley and are launching a new worship location in Corona de Tucson with one service during June, July and August and then weekly worship starting in September.
The worship services in Green Valley are at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday evening and 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. The 5:00 p.m. Saturday evening worship service is a Praise service led by our Praise Singers and Band. The 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship service is a traditional style of worship with the Chancel Choir and organ. The 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning worship service is a blended style of worship with contemporary and traditional music with the Celebration Singers, organ and instrumentalists. The 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning service service features old time Gospel music with Jane Everson on piano and men's and women's vocal groups.
The worship services in Corona de Tucson are at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. During June, July and August the worship services will be on the first Saturday of the month. Beginning in September the worship services will be weekly on the first Saturday of the month. Come early for food and fellowship starting at 4:30 p.m. We are meeting at the Corona Foothills Middle School, 16705 S. Houghton Road.
Children are welcomed to come forward for an informal time with a children's sermon at all worship services. From September-May, there is church school classes for children at 9:30 a.m.
