Summary
The prophet most connected with the birth of Jesus is Isaiah, who foretold that the virgin would have a son and call him Emmanuel – God with us. However, Isaiah was not the only prophet who spoke of the promises of God revealed through Jesus. This weekend, we heard how the birth of Jesus fulfilled the promises of God and how these promises continue to bring hope and peace to the world today.
