Fellowship
Fellowship plays an important role in bringing members of Desert Hills Lutheran Church closer together in spirit.
We enjoy each other’s company and support, and we do it in so many ways.
Saturday Suppers
On Saturdays from 4 – 5 pm, Desert Hills Lutheran Church hosts a supper featuring a delicious meal created by our church chef and kitchen volunteers. Each meal provides members and visitors with an opportunity to gather around the table to share a meal, laughter, and friendship. Each meal has a suggested donation of $7.00.
Coffee Fellowship
Coffee Fellowship is about more than coffee and cookies after worship services. It provides an opportunity for individuals to interact with each other, to discover commonalities, to make connections, and to grow friendships. Members and visitors alike are invited to share a cup of coffee, a cookie (or two), and a conversation before or after worship services on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings.
Coffee in the Community
Each month the pastors of Desert Hills Lutheran Church meet with community members at local restaurants for coffee and conversation. Please check the church calendar for Expresso Yourself events with Pastor Mike and Craig’s Coffee Chat events with Pastor Craig. Both enjoy meeting new and familiar friends as they gather outside of the church.
Food, Fellowship, & Fun Team
Trivia game events, acrylic painting parties, glass cross making, and board game afternoons are just a few of the many events that are planned and executed by this team of fellowship and fun-minded individuals who want members and visitors to have opportunities to share with food, fellowship, and fun at the forefront. Singles Fellowship
A Singles Fellowship is a group of individuals who come together to share in fellowship and adventure. Together, members of Singles Fellowship explore local events, attractions, and opportunities while enjoying the company of others. Monthly activities are planned by a team of singles who meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 11 am – 12 pm.
Tables for 6 - 8
Twice a year members and visitors of Desert Hills Lutheran Church are encouraged to join Tables for 6 – 8 and share a regular meal with a group of new friends. These groups share their homes or gather at local restaurants for monthly meals and fellowship, sharing the joys and challenges of their lives. Watch our emails for more information.
