Summary
Jesus engaged the world around him with God’s love, grace, and power, often inviting his disciples to join him. He healed the sick, touched the untouchables, fed the hungry, and opened closed eyes, ears, and hearts. As he proclaimed the Kingdom of God, he invited others to repent, meaning to turn away from their old way of life and to move towards a new way of life. The early church followed that same pattern of doing what Jesus had done and continued to invite others to join them in this new life.
