DHLC sent $17,213 to Atonement Lutheran Church in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
Atonement Lutheran lost a significant portion of its sanctuary roof when Hurricane Milton made landfall south of Tampa Bay on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
Last fall, the DHLC Congregational Council voted to donate all Christmas offerings to a church in Florida that suffered damages from the hurricanes that hit the area.
Please continue to keep Atonement Lutheran Church and all those affected by the hurricanes, in your prayers as they work to recover from this storm damage.
Atonement has served the community around Wesley Chapel, just north of Tampa Bay, Florida, for 37 years. The area is diverse and growing, and Atonement is well-known for its ministries, including drive-through prayer, an annual live nativity, and a food pantry serving over 700 families weekly.
