Discussion Group on Combating Loneliness
The U.S. Surgeon General declared loneliness an epidemic. Many, during the DHLC visioning process, identified loneliness as an issue. If you are struggling with loneliness, please join Pastor Barb Rapp in a book study discussion group on March 3, 17, and 31 from 10 – 11:30 AM, where we will discuss Dr. Ruth K. Westheimer’s last book, The Joy of Connections. It offers a straightforward road map for overcoming loneliness with 100 concrete ideas and opportunities that can be acted upon immediately. The class is limited to 20 participants. Please sign up by calling or stopping by the front desk. Books are available at the church office. The suggested donation is $19.
