Summary
We continue to witness the collapse of humanity, finally resulting in God's decision to send the flood. The flood was meant to be a cleansing of creation because it had been so polluted by violence and blood. Yet, even after the cleansing by water, sin and violence continued to reign. The flood reminds us that one cannot destroy evil, but it must instead be redeemed and transformed.
