As the women came to the tomb with deep sadness to prepare Jesus for his final burial and their goodbyes, an angel encountered them. The angel proclaimed that Jesus was not there; he had risen, just as he said he would. Can you imagine what must have gone through these women’s minds as they processed these words being spoken to them? Their fear, their surprise, their joy? What are you experiencing in your life today? How might these words of the angel impact your life, your feelings?
