Keep Your Eyes on Jesus - Saturday 3 PM

This past weekend, we reflected on Jesus' walking on the water toward the boat. Like many of you, I have pondered the image and wondered how Jesus did it. This time, I thought about the storms that rage in our own lives, the unexpected waves that hit us and leave us feeling "wet" and shaken. We try to navigate these storms on our own, struggling and sinking into the unhealthy depths of our challenges. Then we remember Jesus. Like the disciples, we look up, and through the clouds and the waves, we can see the light of our Savior coming to us to give aid and comfort. He lifts us from our situations and puts us back in the boat of his love and care. Today, remember that as the storms rage around you, we believe in one who stills the storms in our own hearts and minds.
