Summary
Jesus humbled himself on the cross for our sake. He could have sat on the throne yet chose to hang on a cross. It is only in looking to the cross that we are aware of how much he loved us so that we could live. Yet it is an empty cross. Our Lord did not leave us but walks with us, helping us to know that we are worthy and to find strength in his promise to be with us always.
