Summary
This weekend, we heard how Jesus was publicly proclaimed the Son of God. He was the answer to people’s questions about whether God really cares about us. As we begin 2026, it is important to know that we are on a journey led by someone who always watches over us. In our own baptism, we are called and claimed by a God who loves us. Through that sacramental act, we are reminded that we are God’s children. As humans, it seems we need these physical reminders to assure us of God’s relationship with us. Know that the promises of God are for all people. Yes, even you.
