Summary
The Holy Trinity is a mystery, and any attempt to explain it always falls short. Still, we keep trying, using images like water or an egg found in creation to illustrate the concept of the Creator. But why do we try so hard to describe God when God is indescribable? Perhaps it’s linked to our desire for understanding; when we can’t answer a question, we feel vulnerable and afraid. If we can’t explain God, we can’t control God or predict God; we can only trust God.
