Nightmares to Easter Dreams - Sunday 8 AM
Series:
Summary
This weekend, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the victory over death. So, what does this mean to us, as we continue to live in the brokenness of this world and the constant reminder of the reality of death? How do we live differently in the midst of such reality? It takes courage to envision the dreams of God's kingdom. To not let the nightmares of Good Friday keep us fearful of dreaming new dreams. Not based upon Good Friday, but with the confidence of Easter morning. It will take those who believe in such a possibility to invite the world to wake up from their nightmare and begin imagining a new life and a new world. For if the tomb is empty, then God is up to a new thing, to which God invites us to dream new dreams.
Dig Deeper:
How might God be calling us to envision dreams based upon the Risen Jesus and not remain in the nightmare of Good Friday?
