Palm Passion Weekend - Sunday 8 AM
Series:
Summary
This week marks a significant moment in the church’s calendar, filled with striking contrasts. Jesus enters Jerusalem amid shouts of glory, only to be left alone to die on the cross, abandoned even by his closest friends. The Gospel of Luke portrays Jesus in his complete human vulnerability: agitated, grieved, scared, and forsaken. Our message for this weekend will feature a dramatic reading of the Passion of Christ, allowing us to experience the story's power. As we enter Holy Week, we do so longing for the completion of God’s astonishing work. While we mourn Christ’s suffering and all human suffering, we also hold onto the hope of God’s salvation. Jesus promises that his death will establish a new covenant with all people.
