Protecting the Promise - Saturday 3 PM
Series:
Summary
The warmth of this year’s Christmas is starting to fade as we look in the rear-view mirror, yet the birth of our Lord is not something to put away. Jesus’ birth is to give us the sense that our God loves us so much that “he sent his son into the world.” As people of faith, we know that this is true. With all the uncertainties of our lives, we can, in confidence, go into this New Year of 2026 knowing that whatever lies in store, we are not alone. We have a savior born into the world, who knows what it was like to walk this earth, to face joys and sorrows, to face sickness and death, and to give hope in the midst of hopelessness. Knowing this, we rejoice and live the words of “Joy to the world, the Lord is come!”
