Really, God? - Saturday 3 PM
Series:
Summary
This weekend, we took a break from our study of the Old Testament to focus on a message from Matthew 25:31-46, the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats.
The passage describes judgment day, when the Son of Man comes in His glory with all the angels. He divides the people into two groups: the sheep, who are blessed and welcomed into the kingdom prepared for them, and the goats, who are sent away into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
We as Lutherans believe that we are saved by God's grace through faith. That we need to do nothing to earn our salvation. But because we have been saved, we are free to live out our lives helping the least and the lost.
