Rooted in Grace - I Remember When... - Sunday 8 AM
Series:
Summary
This past weekend, we embraced the parable of the Sower of the Seed. Throughout the centuries of the church, this image has been used to see our role in the church. The farmer sows the seed, but it is God who makes it grow. We hope for and pray for a good harvest, but it is ultimately in God’s hands.
Forty years ago, a group of individuals in Green Valley came together with the intention of planting some seeds. They couldn’t foresee what that would look like or whether it would work, but they had faith. As beneficiaries of that faith, we can reflect on the impact DHLC has had on the people of the world. We can rejoice in the spirit of giving to others that those brave people fostered in the formation of Desert Hills Lutheran Church.
May we always continue with that mandate to care for one another.
