Summary
Still in the Book of Acts, Paul experiences a cry for help in a dream and, with the help of his companions, discerns what God was calling them to do. Paul and the others leave immediately, traveling to Philippi, which is a Roman colony and a sign of the power and wealth of Rome. While there, they encounter not the man they had expected, but a woman from the town to which Paul had hoped to travel but was stopped by God. It was in this encounter that God opened the heart of the woman, and she became one of the leaders of the church.
