Summary
What happens after we die? Scripture does not provide a very complete picture of heaven. Instead, it offers vague images and incomplete thoughts about heaven. As the apostle Paul said, “It is too glorious for human words to describe or for humans to understand.” So, if we cannot describe heaven, what can we know about what happens after death? The first thing we know is that we will be with Jesus. Jesus promises us that when we die, we will be with him. Additionally, we know that we will be resurrected by God with a body like Jesus.
