The financial planner asked Kristin and me, “What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?” Maybe you have been asked this question. How have you answered it? Part of this answer is how you understand what a generous life looks like. This weekend, three members of this congregation shared their own generosity story. A story not just about giving money, but a story of how generosity has impacted all aspects of their lives and how others have helped shape their understanding of life. One’s legacy is defined by what one leaves behind for others to learn and to be inspired to follow.
