Summary
Luke highlights the tension between trusting in God's gracious will and love to provide for us and recognizing our responsibility to actively engage in the work of the Kingdom in order to experience God's workings. This is not an either/or situation, but a both/and reality. While we are called to trust that God will meet our needs, we are also invited to share in God's mission. As we trust in God's provision, we are likewise called to extend that same hospitality and generosity to others, so that they, too, may come to know and believe in the God who provides.
