Summary
Jesus always challenged people’s preconceived notions about God and how God operates. As people of God, we have the opportunity to recognize that all that we have is because of God’s grace; it is never because we are so wonderful or great. We can never be justified in the eyes of God without acknowledging Jesus’ sacrifice for us. By having that humble heart, we can see others as fellow children of God, regardless of their circumstances. Jesus reminds each of us that we are included in God’s kingdom, no matter what.
